At Lil Plate Shop, every personalized kids plate is made from DecoPlate® – a high-performance, medical-grade polymer that is melamine-free, BPA-free, and designed for everyday family use.

Our plates are FDA food-contact compliant, CPSC certified, unbreakable, and 100% made in the USA, so you can feel good about what your child is eating from.

What Is DecoPlate® / DecoWare®?

DecoPlate® dinnerware (also referred to as DecoWare®) is a state-of-the-art polymer plate designed for custom printed, microwave-safe, family-friendly dishes. Instead of traditional melamine, DecoPlate® uses a high-performance medical-grade polymer that is engineered to be safe, durable, and long-lasting.

Microwave, Dishwasher & Oven Use

Lil Plate Shop plates are made to be used every day. DecoPlate® has been tested to handle the real-life way families eat, heat, and clean.

  • Microwave Safe: Designed for reheating food in a household microwave.
  • Dishwasher Safe: Safe for the dishwasher; we recommend the top rack to keep artwork looking its best.
  • Oven Safe: Safe in the oven up to 250°F (about 120°C) for up to 1 hour.

For best results, please avoid:

  • Placing plates under a broiler or using at temperatures above 250°F
  • Putting plates directly on an open flame or stove burner
  • Using harsh abrasives or metal scouring pads on the printed surface
