Every Lil Plate Shop plate is molded from a high-performance, medical-grade polymer — a modern, food-safe material engineered to be safe, durable, and long-lasting. Instead of traditional melamine, we use a material designed for custom-printed, microwave-safe, family-friendly dishes.

Lil Plate Shop plates are made to be used every day, and tested to handle the real-life way families eat, heat, and clean.

  • Microwave Safe: Designed for reheating food in a household microwave.
  • Dishwasher Safe: Safe for the dishwasher; we recommend the top rack to keep artwork looking its best.
  • Oven Safe: Safe in the oven up to 250°F (about 120°C) for up to 1 hour.

For best results, please avoid:

  • Placing plates under a broiler or using at temperatures above 250°F
  • Putting plates directly on an open flame or stove burner
  • Using harsh abrasives or metal scouring pads on the printed surface
